Tin Tally started with a pile of more than 100 empty ZYN tins, each with an 11-character, case-sensitive code to type in. It reads the QR code on each tin with a webcam or phone camera, keeps the list, and opens the rewards page with each code filled in.
What it does
Scans the QR code on the back label of your empty tins with a webcam or phone camera, and skips duplicates.
Lines codes up so redeeming is two clicks each: open the official ZYN page with the code filled in, then press ZYN's submit button yourself.
Tracks your points, the 60 codes a month limit, when your points could expire, and progress toward a reward.
Optional: sign in with Google to sync across devices, and start a crew to compare stats with friends.
What it will never do
Submit codes for you. ZYN's rules void automated entries, and your points matter more than saving a click.
Sell or share your data, or show ads.
Pool codes between people. Everyone redeems their own tins.
